My name is Butch Keithley, and I am the assistant principal at St. Veronica School. I am a native of New Albany, Indiana and received my BS and MS degrees in education from Indiana University.
My teaching career began in Lanesville, Indiana where I taught sixth grade for five years. I then moved to Carrollton, Kentucky where I taught for twenty-seven years. After retiring in 2005, the St. Veronica Jr. High School science position became available. After teaching for a short period of time, I realized what a wonderful school St. Veronica is. I became part time assistant principal in 2012 and full time in 2013. I am now working part time again. I truly enjoy working with the teachers, students, and parents of the St. Veronica community.
My wife, Linda, (also an retired educator) and I have four grown children and nine grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, genealogy research, traveling, being with my grandchildren, and sports. My favorite teams are the Cincinnati Reds, Indianapolis Colts, and Indiana University basketball.
