I teach 5th grade math, religion, and language arts. This is my sixth year teaching 5th grade. I previously taught 3rd grade for five years before taking an extended leave to stay home with my three children. I attended Xavier University and am a huge Xavier Musketeer basketball fan!
My husband, Chris, is also a teacher. He is an intervention specialist for Milford Schools and an adjunct professor at Xavier University in their special education department. I have three children who have all attended St. Veronica School. My oldest son, Andrew, is a junior at St. Xavier High School. My son, Peter, is a freshman at McNicholas High School, and my daughter, Annabelle, is in 7th grade here at St. Veronica. Our family has been very involved with the parish in activities such as Eucharistic ministers, servers, athletic boosters, VBS, Sunday school, girl/boy scouts, PTO, education commission, and Koinonia youth groups.
My teaching philosophy is that every child has the ability to succeed. My goal is to find the learning modality that best fits each child to make success possible.
