I grew up in Lima, Ohio with six brothers and sisters. I graduated from Lima Central Catholic High School and from The Ohio State University with a BS in Elementary Education. I started my career in Louisville, Kentucky (2 years), continued it in Dallas, Texas (1 year) and then came to the Diocese of Covington and Blessed Sacrament School I taught 1st and 3rd grade over the course of 12 years. While at Blessed Sacrament I earned my MA in Education from Northern Kentucky University.
I started my administrative career at St. Thomas School in Ft. Thomas, KY. I remained at St. Thomas for thirteen years helping them earn a National Blue Ribbon award and become designated as a Service Learning School of Distinction, earning the Jefferson Award multiple years in a row. I then moved to Good Shepard School in Frankfort, KY in the Diocese of Lexington. I spent two years at Good Shepard, moved them into a new school that was being completed and started a Boosters organization for sports. When my father became ill I decided to move back to Cincinnati to be closer to family.
This is my second year at St. Veronica and I am blessed to work with such a dedicated faculty, wonderful students and involved parents.
On a personal side, I love to read, do crafts and travel. I have been to several states, including Hawaii, and many spots overseas including Australia, The Bahamas, England, Scotland, Ireland, and France. I am always looking for a good book to read and planning my next traveling adventure!
