Greetings from the classroom! It’s true---I have been in school just about my whole life! It’s not because I can’t get it right the first time, but it is the right fit for me! I admit---I love teaching! I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with education degrees in both elementary and secondary education. Catholic education is very important to me, and I feel blessed that parents entrust me with being part of their child’s faith development. I have been teaching at St Veronica School for fifteen years and each year is as exciting as the first year! My passion is connecting with children and inspiring them to try new things. I love teaching all subjects, but am especially fond of Science, Math, and Religion. I use an inquiry- based learning method of instruction. It is so important that children realize that there are many ways to look at issues and many ways to solve problems. I encourage students to find their own personal style of learning and then go exploring! Life’s a journey of learning!
My main philosophy is:
“I hear and I forget;
I see and I remember;
I do and I understand”
