My name is Sherry Dumford. I have been a St. Veronica parishioner since 1973. When the parish opened a school, I was one of the first students to attend. I have fond memories of my days as a St. Veronica student. I continued my Catholic education by attending McNicholas High School. Additionally, I graduated from the College of Mount St. Joseph with a BA in Elementary Education with a Reading K-12 endorsement. I received my M.Ed. from Xavier University.
In 1988, I accepted a teaching position at St. Veronica. I enjoyed teaching second grade for 28 years, fifth grade for 1 year, and middle school social studies for 4 years. Currently, I am the assistant principal, and I teach eighth grade social studies.
My two sons attended St. Veronica and now, my granddaughters are continuing the tradition. I feel very blessed to be a part of the St. Veronica family for so many years.
I reside in the Mt. Carmel area with my husband, Andy, and our Basset Hound. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends
